Neymar Rescinds Contract with Al-Hilal, Heads to Santos

The forward Neymar has terminated his contract with Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, which has fueled rumors about his upcoming return to Santos in Brazil. The Arab club announced via social media that the decision to end the agreement was made by mutual consent. Meanwhile, Santos is eagerly anticipating the return of the talented Brazilian footballer. Al-Hilal Saudi Club stated: "Al-Hilal and Neymar Jr. have reached an agreement to terminate the player's contract by mutual agreement." Initially, it was expected that Neymar would leave the club on loan for six months and then return with more playing time, which was limited due to ligament and meniscus injuries that kept him off the field. It has been reported that the 32-year-old forward will fly to Brazil in the coming hours. Once in Santos, he will need to undergo a medical examination and then sign a new contract. Neymar's return to the club where he was trained coincides with the team's return to the top category of Brazilian football, after playing in the second division last season. During his time at Al-Hilal, Neymar participated in only 7 matches, scoring 1 goal and providing 3 assists. In contrast, in his first spell with Santos, which began in 2009, he played 225 matches, scored 136 goals, and provided 64 assists, even winning the Copa Libertadores in 2011 before moving to Barcelona to join Lionel Messi.
